Last 2015 Kings Lynn Meet Sunday October 25th

Well following on from a dull August Bank Holiday Meet, where we still managed to get 19 cars to attend, the last event this year, will be on Sunday 25th October.

The location will be as it's been so far, at http://www.dragonflykingslynn.co.uk/ which has proven a popular location so far!

So lets see if we can break the record of attendance at the next one!

Kick off is normally around 11 am and goes on for around 3-4 hours, or until you get bored! :lol:

No doubt that Ian the dent man will be in attendance and more than likely some T4 experts as well! :bowdown:

Proper cooked meals are now available at this venue between 12 and 2 and for the early arriver's, a buffet style breakfast is also available as well! :drool4:

For those that haven't been able to attend for various reasons this year, then try and make this one. as it'll be the last one until April next year!

If you can definitely attend, please put your name down on this thread and I'll add your name to the list.

Phil normally does sessions on a "1st come, 1st served" basis, so as long as you get there reasonably early, you should be fine! :}

Great news, Iain the dentman can make it, if busy on the day he will allocate 1 hour per car and hopefully return to any car at end of day.
Will put a reply up with a list of dent man customers once I have ploughed through this 3 page thread.
He can be there before 10am and set up ready to perform, so any one fancy getting there early can be 1st in the possible line...
The regulars will testify as to the quality of his work and the reasonable charges on the day, cash I believe works best. Once set up and workstation wheeled from car to car he can achieve quite a lot in a hour.

Lets take advantage of his services on the day this being the last meet for a while.

My Ford is in need of his services also, but as he is local to me happy to stand aside in order that others can take advantage of his service.

You won't find better in the outside world at anything like his club prices.

We normally meet up in the first layby as you leave the southern bypass then convoy to Kings Lynn,I expect Freddie will be along soon with a meet up time,its normally about 9.00-9.15

Apologies that the Hotel weren't doing food today, I did call in on Tuesday and check that everything was OK, but the guy I normally speak to (Ashley) was on holiday this week, so it may have been because he was off, but I will speak to them, as they probably did themselves out of over £100 worth of food orders today! :getmecoat:

I will speak to them about the possibility of a Christmas Meet and will report back after I've spoken to them! ;)

I have been a bit out of the MG/Rover scene for a while despite still owning a ZT-T. I wasn't going to keep the car, but have decided to now (especially after forking out £600 on a new clutch and some other bits) and intend to treat the car a bit better from now on, going to do a few bits.

Anyway, I didn't realise these meets had been going on and with a T4 on hand too! I will definitely look to coming to at least one next year... Having a T4 session would be great as well as some people there who actually know these cars. I've still yet to really find anyone in Norfolk who knows them well and/or doesn't want to rip me off (*cough*Kelly Clarke*cough*).
