There's some tree-work going on at the bottom of our road so I grabbed the opportunity to grab some winter fuel:

I got a couple of big ones in the front passenger footwell too.

I do have form in this department though:

All our cars have to work for a living. ;)

Are we about to be shown a way to make wood trim for a Rover 75 for free thus eliminating another few traders :getmecoat::getmecoat:

But I'm still trying to figure out how a tree can be cut down and then be cut up

Hope you are both keeping well Gary
Cheers Ian

Excellent work, Gary! I use all of my cars for everyday jobs like that too. Pulling scrap cars, and boots full of oily Rover parts are par for the course. Get some funny looks when you take a load of garden rubbish to the tip in a classic.

Glad you are using your cars to their full extent! :)

Is that a diesel with a wood burning stove then? ;) :D

From October 'til the Spring
The local farmer has this thing
'Bout burnin' wood to heat and warm
His bung'lo and his toes.
But while his smoulder boils the water
A kindly thought he really oughta
Have for the neighbours 'round.
His palls of smoke, beyond a joke
Make Easterlies just dreadful.

A poem

Just don't leave them in there too long.

With the amount of water in a '75 boot they are likely to start sprouting.:duh:

One tip, get a tow bar and access to a small trailer.... Much more convenient for those jobs, and the capacity is much greater too :D :
