Hi Guys

I've recently had issues with her starting, seems to have the power there from the battery after a recent replacement. Occasionally it will go but it's a little hit and miss.

Brother in law is advising engine diags; which it needs anyway to get to the root cause of an airbag light. Will this aid looking at the reason for the non-start as well?

Thanks

Carl

im in North Lincs (Near the Humber Bridge) - Big Russ is in Bradford, we can both diagnose your issues.

Does it crank over but not start? Any pattern to the non starting - like only when hot or cold?

The common cause for the airbag light is one of the under seat connection plugs - the pins tarnish over time due to the fumes given off by the seat foam.

Try unplugging and plugging them in a few times after giving them a squirt of WD40.

Edit: Ha you beat me to it Andy. If you and Russ are both near then the Op is in safe hands.

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as threads get ‘lost’ very quickly in the General Forum. ;)
