Are any of the switches that go in the switchplate beneath the cupholders and the ashtray straight on/off switches ?

I ask as wondering if any could be used as a manual override to force the FBH to work when you want it to such as a preheater that you could go out to the car press the switch to turn it on. Leave it say 20mins to preheat and them switch it off when you get in to leave.

No they are not simple single throw, the rear sunblind will reverse polarity after it detects the blind is up (or down), the rest have timers and / or sense, but you can make a switch just be a single throw or momentary contact. as per the instructions above.
