Hi guys

So the wee banger I just bought has a tiny oil leak coming from around the bottom of the radiator area. (is the intercooler there too? Sorry, I know nothing about diesels!)

At first I thought o rings, but after checking the thread about them, its the wrong side. My tiny drip is the driver's side. Any ideas what this could be? Its a 75 diesel on 02 reg auto box.

Auto gearbox oil cooler?

Does air conditioning work ok? It could be PAG oil from the condensor or one of it's pipes worn through rubbing against the power steering hose. Failing that, it could be coming from the oil filter area or further back on the engine and being flung forward by the belt or pulleys. You'll need to remove the undertray (if not already missing) to try and locate the source better.

Its very black, so I thought engine oil? Its not gear oil for sure.

I would suggest the elbow not seater or sealed tightly at the intercooler.
