This is my first 75 (kv6), Is the car supposed to be so soft? basically it floats up and down when testing the shocks. Almost rolly polly. I almost don't feel like I'd trust it going too fast around a corner.

Its done 87,000miles, so I'm guessing the shocks are done? Doubt they've been changed.. I just changed the transmission oil and it looked like it hadn't been changed since news... metal shavings stuck on the magnet of the sump.

Which shocks are recommended?

I have a KV6 Tourer and the front bounce test is pretty solid. I have not had to change the shocks yet and they look like the original ones (delphi). From the sounds of it though yours are probably done for.

There are quite a few discussion threads on here regarding shock absorber types and preferences.

Cheers for the reply.

I was wondering if the MG ZT ones sold by DMGRS would be applicable on the 75?

They will probably be too firm, and will not match the spring ratings on your car. it is best to get the correct springs/shocks for your car by referring to the label under the rear seat (nearside).
