dropping RPM at idle

hello.

I have noticed that my CDTi has started to drop revs down to c600-650 when coming to a stop before immediately rising back to the expected 780RPM.

It only lasrs for several seconds and feels like its going to stall. Doesn't do it all the time but makes the engine sound like a tractor :duh::duh:

Any ideas ??

It's one of the misteries that I could not find the answer. I have read many threads about this and these are couple variants:

injectors
clutch flywheel

while others say it's normal

Same here, happens every once in a while and has done so for years.
Just as Rimas, I've been looking for a solution, but nothing...

My 75 did this when the maf fell out of range. I was fortunate to have a synergy 2a which was fitted and not missed a beat since. Maybe worth a T4 session to clarify this issue.
