Hi as above I have been told to go for impact ones as they are stronger, comments please ?

I bought a set of 1/2" drive hex impacts to go with my bi- hex non impacts. I never use the bi- hex now, always go for the impacts. I've got an electric impact wrench so, they're good for that too.

If you get a good set of impacts, you'll never need to buy again ;)

Thanks Paul, funny it's a set of hex impacts I just bought ( gearbox oil renew)

The problem with impact sockets is there wall thickness is thicker obviously, sometimes this makes getting into a small hole difficult. If you can afford it have both but go for sockets with 6 sides not 12 as these are more prone to rounding stuff off.
