I got most of my components sand blasted by a local engineering firm, they also do a lot of powder coating on alloy wheels.

As soon as you get the parts home you must get some primer onto it double quick to stop re corroding.

My upper arms had small pin holes in them when I sent them off for sand blasting and worse when they came back so I decide to replace them with new ones.

That was about six weeks ago and the old arms are well and truly rusted again.
They're going in the bin anyway.
