corrosion on 3" section of roof joint finisher

Pulled out my ZT from the garage after six months storage and found that the
L/H roof joint finisher has very light surface corrosion for a 3" section, right in the middle!, any one ever had these off and resprayed them? can you get them off without damaging them?, Rimmers still do the clips, but as with many parts the trim is no longer available and before i attempt it and maybe start trawling scrapys for another, i was hoping someone may have some tips on how to deal with this problem :shrug:

hopefully someone has a bit of advice, if not find a scraper and give it a yank and lever and see what happens i guess !

Hi David
They just lever out from the ends, but care must be taken not to bend the trim or break the clips
Removed a couple of sets for re spray purposes
