The driver's seat in my car has had a fault since i 1st acquired It, it will move backwards and forwards on the runners under its own steam no problem, but the Base height and angle adjustment and back rake adjustment dont. Checked all the fuses and they seem to be in order, the drivers side had been flooded due to blocked heater drains and some of the multi plugs for the ecu under the seat were a bit blue and furry.
I have managed to get a full set of "working" electric bucket type seats (zt style I think) out of an 04 estate and have fitted the drivers side one, but still have the same problem of no adjustment functions working.
Seeing as there is at least 1 power feed getting to the seat to enable partial function, is there another plug under the carpet to look at for rotted out terminals or am I best off taking a new fused ignition live to the seat to power it up ? Not really to bothered for the memory part of it as long as I can get the seat to go where I want it .
