In memory of the air crews who gave their lives in the fight against the Luftwaffe, here is a link to the memorial charity for donations.

One of Jessica's uncle's was an RAF pilot who was shot down in his Spitfire over France, killed in action. As Bob says, a worthy cause.

Well what a fantastic day out spent in the company of our great friend Mr FB.
Great venue with helpful and knowledgeable staff and such a warm welcome from the boys and girls from the Kent MG Rover group and the flypast complete with victory rolls by the Spitfires made it even more special
A highly recommended meet to return to next year.
Definitely a 10 out of 10
Cheers Ian

We raised a total of £250, with a late donation, for the 2 charities.
We had 17 cars for this great day. The "Show and Shine" was a great success. 3rd place went to a very nice MGC, 2nd place went to a Firefrost 75 and the winner was a totally gob smacked Ian with Redfive. Even when the cars reg number was read out it never sank into Ian that he had won.

The raffle was a success, even I won 2 bottles of wine. Over 20 prizes were donated.

But the icing on the cake was the unexpected arrival of not one but two Spitfires. The first one done complete with a victory roll. The 2nd Spitfire, a two seater from Headcorn also performed the victory roll before returning to do a low sweep pass.
Then another golden oldie, no not Ian, done 2 circuits of the memorial, a radial engined Harvard.

Many thanks to ex-RAF. Stuart Churchman for putting it all together, a member of the Kent & Surrounding MG-Rover club.

And they want us back next year.
