We attended a small display arranged by the Rover Sports Register a couple of weeks ago. It was part of an open day at Copped Hall near Epping, Essex. It was the venue where A Midsummer Nights Dream was first performed & more recently, Rod Stewart sold his property on the estate which he had owned for many years.
For much of the last century it was a ruin, after a fire in the 1920's but in the nineties it was purchased by a trust who are gradually restoring it. A phenomenal amount of work has been carried out since l last visited when it was at the height of it's dereliction & it's looking grand, l must say. It has the largest walled garden in the U.K which is looking beautiful as well as the rest of the grounds & the house, though much work remains to be done. Well worth a visit, especially if you're part of a car display which gets you into the grounds.
I'm testing the site's photo-hosting with this too.
