CDTI Connie air con not working

The slow speed fan has not been working, so I've done the demist test and the fan ran fast. Purchased a gold resistor and replaced silver resistor. I started car up and pressed auto but no fan running. Can anyone help?

Phil,

Repeat the test but press the windscreen demist button rather than 'Auto'. If the fan still doesn't run, revisit your soldering. ;)
