As above should it just pull out from the gearbox? Been trying to get it to come out for the last 2hrs and it won't budge and I can't see any kind of circlip for the life of me.
Thanks Matt

You need to lever it out gently using a large screwdriver/prybar or tyre lever, trying not to damage the lip on the oil seal in the process. The circlip is on the inner end where the shaft engages with the differential. This holds it in place, and it needs a little bit of force to make it pop out and release the shaft. When replacing the shaft, apply red brake grease to the oil seal in the differential housing, put some LM grease on the drive shaft splines and gently push it into the gearbox keeping it straight and tapping it home with a rubber faced hammer.

Good luck

Pete
