Sunroof Drains Tube Leak Solved - re-visited.
To be honest the importance on the subject and warnings about plenums and drains cannot be over stated.

Not sure another how-to is justified, but I have a slightly different take on the absolutely excellent how-to by Arctic
https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=118622

Completely stripped the interior and removed the carpet to it's own CSI tent on the patio to dry.
Located the front tubes, which had come adrift due to blockage. Of course.
Rodded the tubes and the Duck Billed rubber outlet tube going through to the wheel arch, then changed my mind.

I removed them completely and decided on another method. Replaced the Duck Bills with a wiring grommet.
Removed the PTFE tape from the sunroof tubes, pushed the tube about 2 inches into a small length of garden hose.
Sliced the end of the garden hose made pushing it through the wiring grommet a sinch.
Et voilą!

The reason behind my thinking was - we all know the original sunroof tube, connects to the Duck Billed Grommet, and then exits the car through the wheel arch. But this set up actually reduces the diameter as it goes through the Duck Bill. Making blockage much more likely. Of course an easy mod is to simply cut the restricting end protruding through the wheel arch. But there is still the issue of the poor connection which Artic addresses in his brilliant piece using fluted plastic hose straight connectors.

Using a section of garden hose means the water flow through the sunroof tube is not restricted. Also, easier to rod the tube up to the sunroof from the wheel arch without the risk of pushing the sections apart.

Same mod for the rear tubes.

Dried the car, it took two weeks to dry the carpet.
Re-assemble, full valet stunning result.

As many members have already said, when the water shows like this, there is already a substantial amount of water under the carpet.
And boy is it heavy to lift out of the car or what!

Another good alternative, we have used garden hose in the past but passed it through the duck bill after the end as been cut off, ;) nice neat job well done Arctic.
