Anybody know what size ID silicone hose fits the throttle body nicely on the Kv6?

Will a 70mm hose squeeze on easily? Or should I find one slightly larger?

Well it measures about 72 mm outside diameter on the TB so I'm guessing a 70mm ID silicone hose will squeeze over it.

Might just go order one, unless anybody knows it won't fit.

OKay.. Been doing some measurements today with a very technical piece of equipment :

A piece of paper and a pink bendy ruler . :D

So far my Throttle Body findings are this:
TB Outside Circumference: 231 mm (Lip 234 mm)
TB Outside Diameter: 73.529 mm (Lip: 74.484 mm)

Honda S2000 filter sizes:
Filter Outside Circumference: (smallest 271 mm) (Lip 274 mm) (Biggest 277 mm)
Filter Outside Diameter: (smallest: 86.261 mm) ( Lip: 87.216 mm) (Biggest: 88.1718 mm)

So... without further-ado, I have looked on the ASH website and I am about to buy a silicone reducing elbow with a size of 90mm reducing down to 76mm ,..

With any luck a couple of hose clips will be able to squash the silicone pipe down a few mm to a nice tight fit. If not, I'm sure I could wrap something around the filter and Throttle Body to take up a bit of the slack.

Little update on this (at least some things are going right)

I ordered a silicone 90 degree elbow with a 70mm and 90mm aperture on either end.

And here it is on the car:

I still need to get a small filter for the idle intake pipe, and a 110mm hose clip for the filter side, but so far I'm very happy with the finished result. :}

Performance wise... It's pretty much like most people report with these types of things, Feels more responsive and a little easier revving. Seems to pick up easier, and yes, there is more induction roar. :D

Its not too loud though.. but very addictive. Sounds absolutely fantastic giving it the beans. B)

I've gotta say,.. these 90 degree KV6 engines do sound a little exotic. 90 degrees are usually reserved for V8's! :D (makes me wonder what the KV8 would have sounded like?)

But the biggest bonus here, is because this is an OEM Honda filter, it means its made from paper. Thus it has superior OEM filtration compared to those over hyped and over priced K & N things.
