Hello. I purchased last week a relatively low miles R75 facelift that I added to my fleet of Rovers. I discovered that the headlight adjusters doesn't do the "self" test when switching on and the dash wheel doesn't have any affect on headlamps. I had the bumper off yesterday as I'm also fixing the premium grill chrome and, surprise surprise, on both headlamps 2 of the wirings on both lamps were cut ! My first impression is that they were purposely cut by the previous owner for some reason that I don't know. Any idea ?
Also, I didn't tried to rewire and test the lamps yet and lamps are in very good condition with no rust or whatsoever: if the motors are broken on both lamps what happens if I rewire and switch on the lamps ? I am going to meet a disaster ?
Thank You.

Where along the loom were the wires cut? Its a common issue where the wiring loom rubs on the chassis arms and eventually cuts. Have seen it on several 75's/zt's. This is whats probably happened on yours :)

It's near the connector 2 : no relation with chassis arms
