View Full Version : My zt spoilers?

Been thinking of fitting the lip spoiler on to my mk1 zt190.

Am I right in thinking it just simply swaps over from where the bit of trim is on the back of mine?

Or does it need extra holes drilled or something?

Also, are there any ' variations' to the style of the lip spoilers? As I've noticed some late model mark 1's have lip spoilers instead of the boomerang.

Plus, where did they get the spoiler I've seen on some super charged v8's?

It's like the boomerang but has a dip in the centre of it?

Cheers :)

You can fit the lip spoiler with the same holes, however it just looks plain odd, and does nothing to enhance the downforce on the back end ;)

The lip spoiler in addition to the four standard fixings, has double sided tape securing it to the boot lid, so if you do decide to fit one, make sure you overhaul the number plate lamp PCB first, as it is a royal pain in the posterior to remove the spoiler afterwards ;)
