PRT Termostat

Sorry guys silly question time
Temp gauge never gets to half way was told to change PRT thermostat,took to garage and he said might as well change both,so do I have 2 thermostats confused now 1.8T

If you have a PRT you should have a dummy stat in the normal position on the block. You should not have 2:eek::D

[T-Cut]

Don't let them touch the top end at all, it's quite unnecessary. Just replace the dicky PRT unit with another one. Get an 88C one if you can find one.

My ZTT 1.8T is running too hot so Ill be fitting this;

You need to fit one also by the sounds of it.
