Why are the 1.8 and 2.0 CDTi part numbers different?
I can get a good price on a UUB100193 but this is listed for the 1.8...
Anyone have an idea?

The pressure plate is different, and the NASP 1800 has a smaller diameter driven plate.
However the slave cylinder is the same on 1800, 2500, and diesel
Anyway, here you go, if you haven't sourced the rest of the gear ;)

Does that mean the above (my p/n) is for a 1.8 NASP?
Lordy lord... a 1.8 with no turbo? Bet thats awful.
Its listed for 1.8 and 1.8T as far as I can see, and I've still no idea why the P/N is different for the slave over the range.
And as for that Freelander, Brian, I trust your judgement, can you confirm it is 100% the same part, or does it just happen to fit, but with a few mm difference here and there, or a different shape cover etc?
Edit:- my mistake I should have said slave cylinder in the title, thats what I was getting at, but would love to know the EXACT situation with the Freelander, as you can get an AP branded one for £75!

The Freelander TD4 clutch is identical to the 75 and ZT diesel, fitting one to my ZT this week if the premises move goes as planned ;)

With an LUK slave, or Delphi/AP ? I trust you will not be fitting the metal slave based on your recent comments on that item !
Cheers

I think this will answer your question Pete ;)
Based upon a personally experienced failure rate of 100% of the Tazu CSC thrust bearing, I will be fitting an LUK variant :}
