As title, changed my v6's plugs (had a sudden misfire). The plugs were a little tatty, and a reddish rusty colour, but considering they had done at least 100k on lpg not bad. In fact only one of them looked darker than the rest, and not by mutch.
Sure enough, plugs changed, missfire still there, 1st cylinder in rear bank.
So, I've swapped the coil with the front no3 and put everything back together while I wait for a new coil. To get this going asap I was wondering if anyone has a spare I could borrow or buy? It might be that I get a new one on monday or tuesday, but I don't want to wait any longer.
I'm in south west wales, so swansea or beyond would be good for me!
Thanks.

Coil changed, as well as the brake pads which were waiting in a box.
The problem is, the engine check light, which was on intermittently on the way home with the misfire, is now on constantly!
So, have I cooked the cat? I will admitt to driving it a little faster than I needed to, so will have to accept my share of the blame if it has.

Huw, the ECM will have stored the fact that the fuel adaptations were out of range with the misfire, I would clear the fault codes and see where you go from there before condemning the cat ;)

A spin up to Snowdonia in the sunshine today cured it!
Stopped at Trawsfynydd cafe for brecky, when I went out to continue my journey it had gone off.
Going (and stopping) like a good un, need to look at shocks and various joints next if I want another mot...
