Is cruise control linked to fuel pumps?

Hi all,
I ask the above question as my cruise control became unselectable (on the steering wheel) about a day before my intank pump started misbehaving. Intank fuel pump now replaced and now the cruise control is back online. Any ideas? Wiring diagram might help.

Nope - I ran a car for 20k miles with a failed ITP and the cruise worked fine.

If you have a manual car then more than likely the switch on the clutch pedal may need resetting if the fault returns.
