Inlet Manifold Gasket

Hi, I'm about to change my leaking 1.8T inlet manifold gasket using the improved Black Viton gasket on a plastic manifold. Once everything is cleaned up is it generally thought best to fit the gasket dry or would a coating of something like silicone grease be beneficial. Thanks.

I have always fitted them dry, just clean the face on the head and torque correctly and all will be well.

(And clean the jiggle valve before refitting the manifold)
