Hi,
Just repaired my fan and noticed some clips broken that i'd like to replace.
in front of the oil cooler (in a V6) at the bottom there are 2 black pipes running horizontally (they are actually 1 pipe in a loop)
What are these pies called? and what are they for?
I've checking Rimmers and cannot see any diagrams for this.
It is the 2 clips that secure this pipe that i need to purchase.
Thanks

Power steering cooler pipework, the clips arent available on their own, best bet would be to remove one yourself from a scrap car or a trusted breaker on here or buy a new one from rimmers, unless someone on here has a good fix for it.

Hi Joe.
Buy a big bottle of water or pop drink then use the bottle to make some brackets to hold the pipe in place. ;)

Cut them out drill a 6mm hole and fit to the car as a temporary fix, thicker plastic could be used to make a clamp then fit them.

Another good fix would be find someone with a 3D printer to knock some out.

Thanks Arctic, I’ll give that a try!
