Hi All,

Been.....quite a while since I last posted here, I left the fold when I bought my X-Trail but I've ended up with that familiar itch to scratch and ended up taking on a rather large project in the shape of a rather large 2003 Range Rover L322. Not quite the usual found here but vaguely related. It certainly has a list as long as a ZT-T to sort.

My question is to the T4 bods, is can the system be used on the Range Rover? I have plenty of issues to sort but at some point it's going to need all it horrors laid bare and at least need the key resynced for remote locking, so I'm looking to find out if T4 is the way to go.

Cheers,

Chris

I'm surprised you've got no response from the TECH types yet.

I think I read somewhere that you stand near the car and hold the key button down for something like 5 or 6 seconds to re-set it.---

Marinabrian will be along soon when he's finished his tea.---:D:D:D

Aye ok ok my tea was late after I manufactured some special washers for some super secure undertray fasteners :getmecoat:

Anyhoo Mr Mofo, yes I can certainly take a look at your L322 as T4 will happily chat with said vehicle

My number has not changed if you wish to give me a bell ;)

Cheers all, I didn't think it had been as long, and I didn't realise just how much I'd kind of drifted away - real world and all that.....I should have realised there's always a warm welcome waiting. I feel quite ashamed that I haven't kept in better touch.:o

It was an absolute pleasure to catch up with Brian this very evening, called in on his travels, with T4 in hand.

Had a good natter over a mug or two of coffee, whilst T4 chattered to the many....many....many ecus on the L322.

No major dramas unearthed, a few minor niggles to look into a bit further, and somewhat of a learning experience for us both, for example I discovered I have a FBH....it doesn't work properly atm, but, I have one! It's like owning a 75 all over again ;)

I even managed to pass on my wisdom to Trikey at one point, Brian being in as much demand as ever, I'm sure they both appreciated my sage words on the topic of misbehaving ECU's.

All in all, a very enjoyable way to spend an hour or two. :p:
