Based on conversation over breakfast, last Sunday, how does the following sound ?

2nd or 3rd May - Breakfast (as announced)

4 week gap

30th or 31st May - Destination Drive

4 week gap

Sunday 28th June - Car & Steam Rally (as announced)

6 week gap

8th or 9th August - Destination Drive

Destinations suggested include Bluebell or Tenterden Railway, Tour of Country Side with pub lunch, Chatham Dockyard, visit to a Stately Home.

A visit to a NANO Meeting was also voiced, and either of the following dates would fit in with above, 13/14 June;18/19 July.
Possibly better to arrange this individually, or as a small group of interested members.

Any comments welcomed, not (all) yet set in concrete, can be discussed at next Breakfast Meet on 2nd or 3rd May.

A bit late to this.
Well done for trying to fire some life into this. Please dont give up!
There is still some scope to do something later in the summer. I'd like to throw in something like Spitfire and Hurricane Museum at Manston (free entry. Half decent cafe), Brenzett Aeronautical Museum. Nice country location, good photo op, low cost entry. Often fairly quiet.
Happy to help with some organizing if required (I used to be events manager for Porsche 924 OC, including their NEC stand and National Rally)

Never too late,

Thanks for your offer of help, and destinations that are new, and now added, to the list.

Pandemic won't last for ever, and a solid nucleus of members are out there.

Regards

Mike
