fuel additives !!

hi all, does anyone recommend using a additive with the petrol ie. redex or similar once in a while and which is the best one, iannn.

I always used Redex in my Mk1 Escort and it lasted 22 years...AND it still didn't use any oil...shame the rest of it fell apart!:D

Redex for me every few tanks just to keep things running smoothly and the injectors/fuel rail nice and gunk-free (I hope).

Ditto, used Redex in all seven of my Mk1's, all five of my Mk2;s and in all three of my 105E's. Gotta love early Fords eh?

Can't say I believe in additives for modern-day cars though, there's just too much that can go wrong...
