View Full Version : Do I have one of the last MG ZT-T 260's to be registered?

Just an idle question.
Having agreed to buy the car last October 2007 when the previous owner was ready to let it go I eventually bought the car in September this year with 11,000 miles on the clock. The car was registered in November 2006.
Also had LPG conversion in October to justify mpg. Now I have the best of both worlds economy most of the time and the odd wild moment when that GTI is up my backside and I can watch him disappear in the rear view mirror when I put my foot down up to 70 mph of course!!!!!!!

its a very hard subject. i have one of the late saloons 860 of 883 registered 05, however there are earlier cars registered after mine so is very hard to say, there are some registered on 06 and even an 07 plate i belive

Does anyone have any accurate information as to how many Rover 75's were manufactured/registered by model, ie. CDT, V6 etc?

Yes I have #317 on a 56 plate. I'm sure I've seen 07 plates advertised and i seem to recall SMG had #883 for sale unregistered 75 about a year ago? I may be wrong.

Here's a link to a post on the 260s. When I collected mine I was told that SMC sold the last 260, VIN 883.

Theres a black 57 plate V8 in Tamworth. Its just a saloon though not a tourer

AE Wilcox sold the last 260SE finished pearl black '57' reg.

SMG Rover Bristol have a 75 V8 Conn SE '08' reg with zero miles.

I bought my ZT190 new from Cars-4-U South Wales March 1st 2007 on a '07' reg. Two basic 260's both pearl black went the same day, both '07' reg!

There was exactly 200 new MGR's registered 2007, and around 20 last year.
