Don't know if I am coming or going ,officialdom running late due to the holidays

Been married over 50 years, feels like having my heart ripped out.

Only just saw this and I too am saddened by your loss. Some years ago my late father's undertaker mentioned that this is often a busy time of the year for him. It did little to console me at the time but it did help me to get through it knowing that I was not alone in what I was going through at that moment. Hi Dave. First of all our condolences on your loss and I hope you are getting back to some form of normality.

I know just how you must feel as the Missus & I celebrated our 50th anniversary last June and only two days ago I had to take her into A&E for an overnight visit due to a recurring heart condition.

We are, well some of us are at an age when unexpected things happen but they still come a a complete shock when we are called away.
