saw these on Moto-build's web site,Has any one fitted one if so any chance of any pictures?cos I'm thinking For £65 If it could narrow the chances of the VIS problem then that's money well spent .

Have a look at this link to XPF. The pictures are from ZS V6 but the connections are the same on our cars. Read through the lot before fitting as there seems to some confusion over the pipe connections.

Thanks GG had a quick look through there's not alot of room to fit it unless you have an induction kit ,also some are saying these may damage the VIS motor through lack of lubrication mmmmm what to do ? it's never straight forward is it:shrug:

Hi Hommer
I had one drop through the door on Friday that I have brought out for another member here in the colonies. It seems to be a std tank with bracket and a length of hose and jubilee clips. All very nice and at the price, I think quite reasonable.
That said, though the instructions are not as clear as perhaps they could be, but, yes, with std air filter housing it will be a tight squeeze. Having dumped mine and fitted an induction kit, there is certainly more room.
Another point to consider though is that the oil does lower the petrol's effective Octane so my guess would be that it is better to have than not to have, especially, if like me, you use V-power. This has some lubricity and the injectors will always create some flash back when pulsing that should help to lubricate the joints in the VIS levers. Come to think of it, the oil is burning on as a residue in some cases and that is worse no lubricity on the joints.

Well I think I may have to give it a go, but first I'll have to get an induction kit to give me more room.seem's there's more pro's than con's and if it save's me £500 + for a new manifold it's got to be worth it plus if anything with the induction kit It'll be easier to change the n/s light bulb!! happy day's

That's a bargain, even if it is a used one! Why is my timing so bad? Would have preferred that version as the hose is better than the sharp elbow on the Piper-X.

If my Rover needed a catch tank this big I'd change the engine
