Up to 500 supercharged. More if you have money to burn.

Known Issues

1 ) Top heater hose is a bit weak - replace with a (cheaper!) aftermarket one from the Two-Sixties group

2 ) Fuel filter/pump in the petrol tank can come apart (affects all petrol R75/ZTs) - fit plastic clip (for pennies)

3 ) A/C not very cold/hot - 260 has a water blend system, rather than air blend set up of other R75/ZTs - it's crude in comparison, so don't expect too much of it. A/C compressor is also a real bargain basement affair and can seize.

4 ) Tyres - only 4 manufacturers, all are either expensive or not very good, 260 tends to munch rear tyres, add spending £300 every 5-10K miles on rear tyres to your running costs.

5 ) Recently reported, belt at front of engine can slip on start-up causing it to partially jump off the bearings - this can result in a split belt.

Can't think of anything else.

There's many more than that in standard size, Andy. It's just that we're a conservative bunch, so don't tend to fit them! From last time I looked, you have, in standard size, at the very least the following, in no particular order...

Nankang
Falken
Bridgestone
Pirelli
Michelin
Toyo
Avon
Continental (OEM fit)
Hankook
Nokian

  5-10k on rear tyres that would only last me a couple of months.

Although if your doing 5-10k every couple of months, I imagine that must be mostly motorway life, and would therefore prolong the 'average' life of the tyre compared to 'average' (enthusiastic!) use?!?

Also, i've done 8K in just over a year - my biggest running cost by far has been fuel...

I'm not sure about the V8 but with my 2.0 it's far more economic on the motorways. The car is almost 2 tonnes so it's energy wasted in town or lots of bends.
Shame I don't acctually drive too often on motorways.

ZT 260 = 1700kg (from memory)

4.6l engine - i average 21mpg (mixture of lots of country lanes and A roads mainly)
