Even better parked if he'd taken 2 spaces like I do.:o
It's a necessity for Monogram paint owners, you just cannot risk getting a scrape.

Not been fined for this habit yet but if I did, it's still better than suffering paint/panel damage from some Nerd who can't drive properly.

A bit like this steering wheel, it had turned very green, its a common thing with the dark oak wheel.

I fitted a new dark oak wheel, much better..

Thats it shame they go like that. Nothing you can do.

I think that owners of Black Oak steering wheels would have to permantly park in the shade in order prevent the "fading".

The cost of a new wheel was a reasonable £99 from Les at SMC.

mine has gone green too, but every one said they like it, as it matches the out side of the car,

Do you know I parked just like that a few weeks back in one of those godamn awful chain store carparks; mine was the only car there .......................

Guess wot ?

I kid you not but some numpty in a Vauxhall Safira parked 10 inches away from mine. I had to get in through my passenger door.
I wish I had taken a pic & left a note on her windscreen, saying something like
" Next time, can you leave me your name & address so I can come & block you in"
That day beggared belief.

I may have lost the plot a bit here, but that's not the interior of a V8 is it? I thought the V8 didn't have that mystery knob, the one under the clock that doesn't seem to do anything.

The wheel is there on Rover 75 V8's but not fitted to MG ZT V8.

The wheel controls the amount of fresh air emited from the top vents..

Have a look at this..

Ah, you live and learn, Dave!

I've looked at Mike's article, even printed it off so I could refer to it in the car, but it still seems to do nothing on my car!
