View Full Version : CDTi- slight delay when opening throttle...

Hi everyone.
I own a 05 facelift cdti purchased with 10.000 miles on the clock and now i've done approx 27.000 miles.
I'm not quite sure if this is a normal behaviour of the car as I've used to drive diesel cars without much electronics or petrol ones: when I change gear and re-open the throttle typically in high speeds I notice a slight delay of approx 1//2 sec to get a "reaction" of the engine, after that it pulls like a train.
No problem at all with torque at low revs, no smoke.
It is a normal behaviour or something wrong I mean sensors or something like that?
Any help appreciated.
Thank You,
Canio
