This morning I have changed my Intercooler "O" rings for 2 x Viton rings from Jules, thanks again Jules.
I managed to replace them without the front end having to come off, which was a great time saver, it also gave me the chance to clean my EGR valve too, again!
It took me around half an hour, all in (with 2 cups of coffee!).
As you will see from the picture they were not as bad as some but the bottom one had swollen quite a lot, so pleased I have done them now.

Hi Rammie... Would you tell me how you went about this without removing the front end as I would like to do mine but find removing all the bits a tad daunting!!

Cheers and well done.

Hi Steve,
If I can do it then I'm sure you can. Sounds worse than it is really.
If you browse the link I'm sure you will see Nick's (Austin Garage) remedy

Well Steve, it will be another one to chalk off!!
The only thing it prevents you from doing is Jules mod to stop it lifting but the 8mm bolt seems to hold it pretty firmly, so we will see.
