My windscreen has developed a rapidly growing crack after my trip to Southampton.:( As it now has to be replaced is there anything I need to check / watch out for when it is done?

If you have rain sensing wipers, you need to make sure the windscreen company are aware as the screen is apparently different.

Autoglass told me that the other day when they turned up to fill a stone chip.

1st thing to check is that it hasn't got a rapidly growing crack in it!:o

On some cars windscreen cracks have been caused by poor welds (ie they stick out) on the vertical pillar sections that the screen sits in - worth getting them checked on fitting just to make sure they won't be a source of more cracks.
