Many years back I used to work for Ferro Chemical Corp (GB), an american chemical company with a plant in Chirk, North Wales. We used to formulate a high grade car wax and sealer for Maguire's in the USA. The formulation was based on Carnuba wax with a few other additives and emulsifiers, I had a tin of each untill they ran out, I must admit it was great stuff for getting a shine. I don't recall it retailing at £290/200ml though.
