Connecting Pierburg Maf and MF75p

Hi Chaps, I bought a new TD4 Pierburg MAF off eBay and a new MF75p from Rover Ron and I want to connect/install them this weekend. I looked at the plug which goes into the MAF and cannot see which way round it goes in as it seems to plug in either way around. The MF75p has Air Temp sensor and also the plug itself has a white paint spot on it next to a yellow wire but I have no idea which way round it sound go and I dont want to damage anything using the trial and error method. Any suggestions please. :shrug:

I'm toying with the idea of replacing mine - please describe fully how you fit - I am not a mechanic, but have replaced the air filter onthese. SO know where onthe car we are.
