Just pondering the other day. I've had the ZT 260 for 8 months now and have yet to pass another on the road. I thought my VX220 was rare but this is ridiculous! Every time I pass a ZT I look for those tell tell exhausts but no luck yet.
BTW had a great few days driving her round Belguim. 500 miles and not missed a beat.

And just think - there are about TEN TIMES as many ZT V8's as there are 75 V8's!!!

Got more chance of seeing a R75 V8 than Petrow on the forums ;)
Good to see you about Petrow :)

Common as muck where I am. Everytime I go past a shop window I see one. Funny thing is its always silver and has the drivers window down. ;)

pardon
As to where all the V8s are....I suspect they are carefully mothballed somewhere ready to be sold on ebay 5 years from now as 'Ultra-rare'...

How many are registered with the club. How many registered with 'Two Sixties' ?

That would be interesting. There's a link to the 75&ZT from the Two-Sixties forum.
The Two-Sixties has 162 members with about 166 V8's.

Hi
A total of 882 Rover & MGs were equipped with the V8.
176 were exported.
49 to Belgium/Luxemburg
36 to France
34 to the Netherlands
30 to Spain
11 to Portugal
8 to Ireland
4 to Australia
3 to New Zealand
and 1 to Malaysia.
Source Xpart manager Pascal Born.
As it seems some of the exported cars turned up in Scandinavia and Germany.

Thanks for that, I wonder which of those is the Mk1 in the USA?
Edit
I think the Australian numbers may be wrong I am sure I saw an auction list during the fold with several on it down under
Tim do you still have the list of Vins I sent to you?

?? Sorry Keith cack memory I've had a quick look around? Was it the 100vin acrobat file
The information I have does not support what Pascal Born is saying. I'm aware of two in the USA two in SA and seven in Australia.
Mintman are you happy if I give Pascal a bell?

Didn't someone start a 260 Colour Survey Thread too?
Might have been me but I can't find it:shrug:
As far as we know there are only 2 Twilight Monogram saloons, mine and chap called Ian
Who ever has the largest compiled 260 Vin list, does this include the paint colours?
