turbo cooler

just discovered that the fuse for the turbo cooler on my 75 cdti is missing put one in now but have run it since i bought it about 18 months ago not knowing it was missing will it have done any harm

I think you had better advise all of us CDT/CDTi owners what this 'turbo cooler' is and what it does. There is nothing electrical about our turbos and nothing anywhere near our turbos that could cool it.

Could you explain further?

Yes Ron ,that's the ones. I think the grommets on the half- shafts started to become de-syncronised or something!
