I'm on the lookout for a Rover 75 tourer, preferably a connie se as I like the leather & toys. I may have the chance of a 54 plate connie tourer with cloth seats, how easy is it to fit (assuming I could find some) a set of leather seats to a car that left the factory without?
I put a set of leather seats in my Mondeo & all the wiring was there under the seat ready to plug and play. Does the Rover have all the necessary wiring in ready to go?

With a 54 plate Tourer the seat wiring should be there, mine was in 2004 saloon.
Almost all facelift 75's have the seat plug for heated and electric seats.

They are fairly easy to change to leather seats, but if you can get someone to help as they are quite heavy to get in and out of the car..

Will saloon seats fit into the tourer - is the rear seat backrest much of a problem? thanks.

Fronts will, the rear will not, or so I've been told. ;)

The only hard part will be finding Leather seats for a tourer.
have done the change over on my own with no wiring in the car.
