Well it has happenend to me.....the bad rain over this week has caught me out and soaked my ECU. Can anyone give any advice for the best place to get a replacement.

Before getting a new ecu , try to dry it out by putting it in a warm place or contacting these people http://www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk/

As it's a diesel, take the glow plug relay out as well, and check that....It lives below the ECU in the plenum.

Thanks for the response guys, drying out has not appeared to solve the problem. Will check the glow plug relay now thanks Greeners.
I have sourced a replacement second hand ECU which will need re coding to my car, can this be done ok?

Second hand ECU's are useless as they can't be recoded. Just send yours off to the ECU doctor

No good getting a second-hand one as it can't be re-coded dispite what the e-bay adverts say. ;)
Best to send it to the ecu doctor as suggesteed above.
