Strange Whirring Noise (from thermostat box?)

Hello Folks,i've got a strange whirring noise coming from around the silver square thermostat box[i think] It was coming on from time to time but is getting more and more regular.It does not seem to come on at any certain time but can be parked up or even on the motorway and its pretty loud.The car seems to be driving fine but its pretty annoying and wonder if i'm doing any damage.I drive a 2002 CDT Club [now 121000 miles] for a living so need to fix quickly if possible.Much appreciated Del

thermostat box = webasto fbh.

search on this and you will find all sorts of info

I thought that's what is probably is, but does a FBH operate when you're doing motorway speeds?

Cheers for the responses.It is indeed the Webasto box thats making the whirring noise.Its now even happening with the keys out,minutes later.Will do a bit of research in the forums under webasto fbh....cheers Del

You need to disconnect the K bus wire to it.....(red / white with a splash of yellow)
