i believe it is a whooping sort of noise you hear if the a/c needs looking at .im sure someone will give you more detailsof what to look for soon ..
i never had any noise when i had mine done i just had it done so i could keep a record of when it will need attention again ..there are mobile firms that come to you for about £60 to £80 ,had mine done by the guys that service the school buses ,they did mine for £25;)

Hi, providing its cold enough and the fan runs I would think its probably ok. The a/c does throw out a lot of moisture. One thing I would check to be sure is it isn't a partially blocked plenum drain slowly draining away.

No, it requires removing of the scuttle panel to check the lower ones. You can see if it is flooded though by removing the cover panel over the brake fluid reservoir and shining a torch down towards the passenger side.

What do you think is leaking/loosing fluid?

i had a split in the small pipe that connects the tee to the plastic elbow on the rad top left so i bought a new one then found i had a leak from the pipe that connects the tee to the thermostat no 10 i think so i bit the bullet and replaced the pipe and fitted all jubilee clips new i have a gerry tee comming monday so im hopping that will cure that but when i had the passenger wheel off today i noticed this drip that is level with the back wall of the engine bay dripping onto the arm that holds the bottom of the wheel where it is attatched to the car i checked the drip and it seems clear water
