I have already posted a thread about my MAF disconnected and going to get a new one fitted ASAP. I have just returned from a trip up north which was mostly motorway driving at 70 mph and worked out about 50 miles to the gallon. My car is a Rover 75 CDI with 90,000 on the clock. What sort of MPG should I expect and will a new MAF make much difference? Thanks.

I have normally got 48-50mpg from my CDTi, which it has done over the last 97,000. The worst was 44 mph fully loaded trundelling around Cornwall. Methinks that a new MAF will would noyt much diference. Maybe others think otherwise.

At those figures you are unlikely to notice much difference. Good mpg.
