EGR Cleaning

chaps...........whilst sorting my issues i am gonna clean me EGR valve so has anyone got any tips?
I did a rough clean the other day but i am still thinking that its sticking still

Filthy Job! wear gloves. When you have finished cleaning it make very sure that it is fully closed to avoid poor low speed problems. Leave the vacuum pipe off but make sure it is properly sealed as a leak in the pipe will affect the braking. You do not have to seal the metal pipe.

Just pinch the nozzle closed with pliers then pop the vac tube back on.. :D

Wear overalls, gloves & use Wynns carburettor cleaner. Yje black gunge in there is unbelievable!
