hi all, can anyone HELP? the T piece on the radiator hose "THE PLASTIC ONE" is leaking, do i have to drain the rad; to replace this? or just take off the old one and put NEW one on . advice please, would be gratefull, thanks peter

To remove/refit a T-piece, you must do a partial drain down, until the coolant level is below the joints you will work on. You can just slacken the lowest T-piece clip and allow the coolant to drain. You won't lose very much, but ensure you top it back up with 50% OAT solution to the correct level. I'd suggest replacing the silly spring clips with proper Jubilees.
