Defective Alpine Cd Changer - W reg Clubman

Dear All, Just bought a Rover 75 which i like very much. One problem i have though is that when i try and turn on the CD i get an error message 'No Magazine'. The car did not come with a user guide for the CD changer and all there appears to be is a green button on the front. I believe there is a magazine in the changer but i dont know how to eject it and am wary of using force. Appreciate help from anyone who has experienced the same problem

slide the door open and press eject (green button) is normally the manor to open it.
