Side Airbag Sensor

Hi there,

I have been told that I have a fault with the RHS (drivers side) air bag sensor. Trouble is I cannot find the sensor, can someone tell me where it is located please?

It is bolted to the inner sill which you will see if you lift the edge of the carpet.

Managed to pull the carpet back along the drivers side sill but still can't see it. I've found another post here that says it was relocated to the inner sill at some point but, where was it originally?

My car is a 2000 W plate diesel.

I can see a sensor mounted on the cross member at the bottom of the B pillar but nothing on the sill itself.

Help!
