Rear cup holders

There are a couple of these for sale on ebay - I was wondering where they fit, and if they can be fitted to a car not originally supplied with them ?

They fit into the front of the rear seat squab. At the very least, the upholstery material would need to be cut and refinished around the aperture for the cupholder. I would guess the seat squab may have the structure to take the cupholder, and there is a surround frame to act as a finisher, but some level of re-upholstery would be needed as a minimum.

They are also held in with some pretty strong springy things.

I have a spare as well if anyone wants one.

Ah - sounds a little bit involved. I had thought that if it was a simple add on I would buy one, Thank you for the info guys. ( Also if I get anywhere near 'strong springy things' it usually means a trip to A & E )
